THE SIZES OF OUR RINGS AT LES GEORGETTES
Knowing the right finger size is just as important for a woman as it is for a man, and can save a lot of hassle. If the ring is too large, there's a risk of losing it; if it's too small, it will have to be readjusted or exchanged. To avoid the "gift as soon as you receive it, it's sent back" experience, you can opt for one of the methods suggested here to make sure you choose the right size. Our rings measure a minimum of 52 mm and a maximum of 62 mm. Size S ranges from 52 to 54, size M from 56 to 58 and size L from 60 to 62.
MEASURE WITH A TAPE MEASURE
It's probably the easiest way to measure the size of your finger! If you have a tape measure (or flexible sewing tape), simply use it to go around your finger. You can then make a mark to record the value and determine the size of your finger. Don't forget to convert to millimetres.
MEASURE WITH A RULER
First, get a ribbon or string. Wrap the chosen material around your finger. Place the ribbon or string at the main joint. Use a pen or black felt-tip pen to mark the intersection. Then transfer the string to a ruler and measure the length from the end to where your string is marked with a black line. The size of a ring is measured in millimetres. To find out your circumference using a ruler, convert the result given in centimetres to millimetres. For example, if you get a result of 5.4 cm, your ring size will be 54 mm.
USE A RING SIZER OF SUBSTITUTION!
Would you like to measure the diameter of a ring but don't have a ring gauge? You can find a ring gauge to print out and place your rings on one of the circles of the ring gauge.
